Sound of The Sirens - All That I Could Find

How many times can I vote?

You can vote once per day, per contestant.

How does the contestant get a gold star?

When the red voting bar becomes full, it will reset and the contestant will be awarded a full star. A contestant can gain red, silver and gold stars depending on the number of votes they receive.

Hmmm, why do you need my name and email address?

We need your name and email address to confirm that all votes are genuine, and to prevent multiple votes for the same contestant.

About

We are Sound of The Sirens, a female acoustic duo from Exeter who have recently won Best Acoustic Act 2013 in the South West Music Awards and have been described as possessing “a distinctive sound, the girls’ special trademark being their acute closeness and a telling binding-together of harmony and rhythm elements in the vocal lines which entirely matches their spiky, savvy, truthful lyrics.” and “folk music with the vocal stylings of Destiny’s Child”

We feature regularly on local radio, have done intimate pub gigs with Ed Sheeran, Billy Bragg, Chris Woods, Paper Aeroplanes, Mad Dog Mcrea, are supporting Brother & Bones and Co Co & The Butterfields later this year, played over 150 gigs in 2 years, a dozen festivals last year (Bicton Fest - headline acoustic Victorious Vintage Portsmouth, Over The Hill, Little Apple Cider Fest, Tolpuddle Martyr’s Festival, Ilfracombe Beer and Summer festivals at the Landmark, Exeter Food Festival and more), the main stage at Olympics 2012 and venues as far afield as London, Birmingham and Liverpool. We have just finished recording at State of The Ark studios (having won a competition judged by Grammy award winning song writer Terry Britten and BBC’s John Govier among others) and have completed filming our music for a new TV series premiering next year. Our album ‘A Long Way To Fall’ was released in December and our EP, Under The Stars, released in May.
